Congratulations Maitahi??? for taking out the series this year. It was pretty close there for a minute with Motueka.?
We get to hold on to the beautiful trophy ‘Te Tauihu O Te Waka’ created by Artist Brian Flintoff.

Tāwhirimātea played a part in changing our course throughout the day but we managed to complete all races. Well done to everyone who raced.
Way to go the Rangatahi for getting out there and giving it ago in those conditions…whoop whoop!?

A huge thanks to our support boats Amanda Kerr and John M Young for helping out for the day!!
To our members who raced and those who didn’t race but still came down to help out, thank you.

Ngā mihi

Setting the course

About to set course for the last Race of the inter club top of the south Tri Series. That was a mission on its own. I think it challenged us all just a wee bit??with some down wind – headwind – side on wind and sea . There were a couple of people on singles having a swim ? not on purpose and one two man swamping. well done to all the steerers. For a 5 km course you had your skills tested and ????to all you Kaihoe ??
