Tuna e Hoe Ana 2024 entries now open

Entries to the 2024 edition of TEHA are now open. It takes place on 9th & 10th February 2024 and is the club’s single biggest fundraising event of the year.

With that in mind, it would be great if MOCC members treat the event primarily as a fundraising opportunity and not just as a racing weekend. The number of volunteers is always a bit thin on the ground, particularly those willing to give up the two days purely to help and not race. We need a permanent group of timekeepers to help Eva throughout the day as well as in a number of other key positions. This year we need someone to take charge of the kitchen to help heat and prepare the pre-cooked food from Real Meals which Jason Daughtrey will have spent a great deal of time cooking in the days before the race. If you feel you can volunteer for any of these positions please contact Eva Virtue on [email protected]

Volunteers who give up their time to help out over the two days in permanent positions will be given a free bunk at Red Deer Lodge and a free meal at the prize giving at Rotoiti Hall you might be able to squeeze one paddle in and still qualify).

All details are available on the TEHA Event Page on the website but if you want a short cut the Entry Form is HERE and the Race Pack HERE
