I’m beginning too feel like the Grinch. The forecast for Sunday morning looks terrible with very heavy rain and strong winds with the possibility of thunder and lightning. Couldn’t be worse really. Even a quick trip around Haulashore looks like it will be no fun. Some of our more adventurous singles paddlers might be eyeing 35kt winds with relish but it will be impossible to keep our burgers from being blown out of our buns, so we have decided to call it off early.
We will keep the plan for the Moturoa-Rabbit Island paddle up our sleeves and get it going on a Sunday in the near future.
