With the growth in the number of people with access to their own small waka, and the availability of the club OC1/W1 and, once repairs are complete, the two club OC2, it seems a great time to get out in a group, particularly for those who are relatively new to singles or doubles.
Glenn Hardinge will be on hand at the marina on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.30pm to lead any singles or doubles paddlers wanting to enjoy some company, paddle in a safe communal environment and extend their skills and confidence.
The Tuesday and Thursday sessions will last for as long the summer evening light holds. We won’t send a Teamer invite out for these sessions as that would mean a lot of club members receiving pointless invites and notices of changes. However, we will put reminders on the facebook page and Glenn will be happy to add people to the OC1 Paddlers Wassap group that is already used as a great form of communication for the singles and doubles owners at the club and beyond.
