Club Paddle to Moturoa-Rabbit Island

In line with the club’s decision not to implement Vaccination Pass checking for internal club activities, the gathering on 18th December for the paddle and BBQ will not be asking for vaccination status.

This means we are limited to a maximum of 50 people at the gathering.

We understand that some people are uncomfortable with not knowing the vaccine status of others, so if you are signed up and specifically want to paddle with certain people in your waka just email me on [email protected] and tell me your preferred crew. Any correspondence will be treated confidentially.

It will not be possible to arrange any organised separation of people at the BBQ, though if people want it we can send you up to get the food by crews.

These are difficult and uncertain times for everyone and we realise we are treading a fine line in trying to respect everyone’s safety and privacy concerns.

The Teamer invites are up and running and as of 7th December we have 19 people signed up to paddle.

Its never too early or too late to start paddling waka ama
