Sean Timoney has organised another opportunity for club paddlers to attend a Coastguard training session. The event will be on Sunday 10th April and is scheduled for 09.00 at the marina (this time may be amended slightly so watch this space).
An invite will go out on Teamer to the whole club as this is not just a steerer’s session. It is great knowledge for any paddler, especially with the winter months approaching, to understand how to tie a waka to a tow boat, transfer paddlers between vessels and even how to get hold of the Coastguard in the first place.
It’s usually good fun as well !
