Te Waka o Aoraki Regional Sprints 2023
Saturday 9th December 2023 – South Eyre Lake, Eyrewell

TWOA Regional Sprints is the South Island V1 qualifying event for Sprint Nationals. Although you do not have to qualify to race in OC6 at Nationals, this is still a very useful warm up for the big event in January. It’s in a new location this year and it looks great.
If you are hoping to race V1 at Nationals then it is highly likely that you will need to qualify. We will almost certainly be taking our borrowed singles trailer to the event, so if you want to put your waka on it contact Tony Davies on [email protected]
We do not need to transport OC6 as the Christchurch clubs who are close to the venue at Lake Eyre provide them. This is to be confirmed !

Entries opened 1st October.
To enter you will need to pay your race fees to the Maitahi OCC account. Please note that it is the responsibility of the Team Manager to collect individual crew money and make a single payment :

- Crew name
- List of crew members
- Race Category. No mixed crews
- If any of your crew are racing singles or doubles this would be a good time to let us know, or they can contact us separately
