The first leg of the Winter Series in Golden Bay on Sunday 24th July will be at Tata Beach and the course will take in a loop of the islands and return via Ligar Bay. It should be beautiful.
There will be a coffee cart in attendance and kai afterwards.

Jacqueline de Jong has kindly volunteered to tow the trailer over Takaka Hill and the deride and loading schedule is as follows :
Saturday 23rd 11.00 – Nelson marina load
Sunday 24th pre race rig as enough members arrive/load after racing finishes
Sunday 24th 16.00 (to be confirmed post race) – Nelson marina unload and re-rig.
At the time of writing we have 13 members going, so will probably need 2 waka.
We still need a team captain to volunteer to organise crews on the day. It’s not too onerous a task, just need to take a whiteboard and markers and write names up so that everyone there can see what’s happening. Email Tony on [email protected] if you can do the job.
