The new system for ordering club apparel should be up and running by the end of this week. This will mean you can order men’s and women’s short sleeve and long sleeve race shirts and singlets, unisex shorts and hoodie, sports bag and beanie. Baseball caps will still need to be ordered via Katie Thurston as they are from a different supplier.
Items can be ordered individually or in batches (batches reduces the unit price) so it might pay to ask around amongst crews to see if larger orders can increase purchasing power.
You will see that the shirts look a wee bit different to the one chosen in the online poll. This was pretty much forced on us by the original graphic element at the bottom of the shirt being impossible to manipulate across the range if items. We found the closest possible replacement and have kept the fading background colour and other design elements that were chosen.
You might also notice that the hoodie is solid red rather than faded. Again, this was forced on us by the fact that the front pocket, waistband and cuffs were separate design panels and matching the fade and the graphic was beyond me. It still looks pretty cool though !
There’s a few days to go before the MOCC Club page goes live on the Kapinua website so there’s time to have a look at the items before then.
